Blood Drive This Week In Fort Bend County

If you’ve been looking for a way to help your community during this uncertain time, donating blood is a great way to start. One blood donation can save up to THREE lives! 

Fort Bend County Health & Human Services is hosting a community blood drive this Tuesday, July 28th. Donors will get a FREE beach towel! 

The blood drive will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 4520 Reading Road, Rosenberg, Texas, 77471. To sign up, click here, and enter sponsor code: FHHS. Donations are by appointment only, and face masks are required.

“As of June 15, 2020, Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is testing all blood donations for the COVID-19 antibody. This test is authorized by the FDA for detecting the presence of antibodies against SARS-Co V-2 and is not intended for diagnosis of COVID-19. The Blood Center will invite donors who test positive for the antibodies to return and give convalescent plasma to help patients recover in local hospitals.
