Earn Gift Cards Through Sugar Land's Sweet Cash Program

The City of Sugar Land has launched a new program to help local businesses as they reopen, and it also benefits shoppers!

The “Sweet Cash” program, created by the City of Sugar Land Office of Economic Development, encourages shoppers to buy a $40 to $200 gift card from any business located in Sugar Land.

In return, shoppers will receive TWO gift cards: one for themselves and one to give to a front line worker. How awesome is that?!

In order to qualify, you must submit proof of purchase through the consumer portal. After your purchase has been verified, you’ll receive a gift card “valued at approximately 50% value of the original gift card, and you’ll then have an opportunity to give another 50% valued gift card to a front line worker,” according to the Sweet Cash website. This is a great way to support your local businesses during the pandemic, pay-it-forward to our front line workers and also receive a fun treat for yourself!

There’s a limited number of gift cards available, so be sure to submit your proof of purchase as soon as you can.

This program is part of the #AllInForSLTX campaign, and the goal is to help stimulate the local economy. It started June 20th, and will go for as long as supplies last.

If you’re planning to post about your Sweet Cash experience on social media, feel free to use the hashtag #AllInForSLTX.
